11Hello! My name is Simon Uymolaynen. I am 18 years old and I live in a quiet region of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. I study at The School of XXI Century, currently in the 11th grade. I started studying English on my own when I was 11 years old, after which I enrolled in a language school where I managed to get a B2 category before dropping out. Since then I have come a long way to becoming proficient in English by incorporating it into my day-to-day life. I believe that the English media space is many times more interesting and comprehensive than my native Russian media. I am also fluent in Estonian. I have a lot of interests: I really like science, especially linguistics, computer science, psychology and medicine. I don’t like reading fiction, unless it’s science fiction. My hobbies include freestyle scootering and beatmaking. I really like technologies. I aspire to become a psychologist or a musician and my main goal is to make a contribution to society. Maybe by making a scientific discovery or great music. There are some people who despite being long gone are still know by most, like Beethoven or Einstein, and people like that are what keeps me motivated in achieving my goals.
